Brandt Park located in McFarland, WI will once again be the host site for the 7th Annual Matt Splinter Memorial Softball Tournament, hosted by the non-profit Matt Splinter Memorial Softball Tournament Committee Organization. The dates of the tournament are June 1st, 2nd and 3rd, 2012. Chameleon will also be playing again on Saturday the 2nd starting at 7pm.

Matt Splinter was a young man who loved the game of softball. He was well known and participated in leagues in McFarland, Monona, Madison, and Stoughton. Matt lost his life in 2005, and to honor his legacy we have established this tournament. The tournament will be open to 18 Men’s teams and 8 Women’s teams. Play will begin on Friday night for the Men’s teams and women’s teams will commence play on Saturday morning. Entry fee is $150. per team and it is a double elimination tournament. All weekend long we will have silent auctions, cans of cold beer, fantastic food, great raffles, 50/50’s, and much more.

100% of the proceeds from the tournament go to continued improvements at Brandt Park.
